Pingle Account Deletion

Last updated: May 5, 2026 · Compliant with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play policy

You may permanently delete your Pingle account using any of the methods below. Your request will be processed within 30 days at most.

1. In-App Deletion (Recommended)

The fastest method is to request deletion from within the Pingle app:

  1. Open the Pingle app and sign in to your account
  2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom right
  3. Tap the Settings icon (gear)
  4. Under Account, tap Delete Account
  5. Optionally select a deletion reason and confirm with your password
  6. Your request will be processed and you will receive a confirmation email

2. Web-Based Deletion Request

If you cannot access the app or your account, fill out the form below. To verify your request, you must use the email address or phone number registered to your account.

3. Email Deletion Request

If you prefer to send an email instead of using the form:

  • Recipient: [email protected]
  • Subject: Pingle Account Deletion Request
  • Include in your message:
    • Email address or phone number registered to your account
    • Your Pingle username (if known)
    • Confirmation of your request

Important: For your request to be processed, the email must be sent from the email address registered to your account. Otherwise, additional information may be requested for identity verification.

4. What Data Will Be Deleted?

Upon approval of your request, the following data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized:

  • Your profile information (name, date of birth, gender, bio, interests)
  • All photos you have uploaded
  • Your match and interaction history (likes, super-likes, passes)
  • Your message contents (will become invisible to other users)
  • Your location and check-in history
  • Your almanac / memories
  • Your device and push token information
  • Your premium subscription records (subject to legal retention periods)

5. Data That Will Not Be Deleted

Pursuant to applicable law, the following data is retained for the legally mandated retention period even after account deletion:

  • Billing / financial records: 10 years pursuant to the Turkish Tax Procedure Law (No. 213)
  • Traffic / log records: Minimum 6 months (max 2 years) pursuant to Turkish Law No. 5651
  • Data requested in legal disputes / investigations: Until the conclusion of the relevant judicial or administrative process

This data is retained under access restrictions and is used solely for fulfilling legal obligations.

6. Premium Subscription Cancellation

If you have an active premium subscription, account deletion does not automatically cancel your subscription. To cancel your subscription:

  • iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Pingle → Cancel Subscription
  • Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Pingle → Cancel Subscription

Refund requests are subject to the policies of the relevant platform.
